The hotel is two hours drive from Nairobi,Around 4 km from Kikopey town and 500m from the main road, At first, it did not seem like there was anything breathtaking about the area considering it was very dry at the time, I secretly wondered if I was going enjoy myself, but we always love surprises and new things. We got there at around 12pm, We were received warmly from the main entrance to the reception,one of the receptionist,can't remember her name,took us through some of the places they offered for accommodation including single rooms, double rooms, family rooms, cottages, The room are fantastic,i even wished it was in plan for us to spend a night there but i remembered the following day was Sunday and we had to attend church service.

After we were done with accommodation we visited the conference rooms,big rooms that can accommodate over 150 people,medium room that can accommodate 70 people and small rooms that can accommodate 20 people. If you are looking for a quiet spot to do business and hold your conferences, there's nothing better than The Pelican Lodge Conference Room.

The Pelicans Lodge is located a few meters away from the Lake Elementaita with a designated gated pathway to its offshore. We could not leave this beautiful attractive lodge without getting to the lake and take a few snaps before proceeding to our next point of visit.

The sun was extremely hot at this time of the season,in case you planning to visit,it is advisable to carry enough water to drink,light clothes,a sunscreen especially for the ladies,your skin will be spared from sunburns.

However,this a hotel we will definitely visit again,and this time spend a few nights.
